Apprimo Touch 8i Wins

Biamp’s Apprimo Touch 8i was a winner in Sound & Video Contractor’s 13th annual Innovative Product Awards, acknowledging electronic and mechanical innovations and celebrating the designers
and engineers behind the products.
The Apprimo Touch 8i is an 8-inch touch panel interface with an integrated Impera controller for LAN-based control of up to 20 IP devices. Available in black, this stylish and discreet
control panel fits in any type of interior design. It is PoE powered and includes PIR sensors that activate the screen when motion is detected and adjusts screen brightness based on a room’s
ambient light level. The user interface is fully configurable with
Project Designer software, which includes several themes and customizable
templates to choose from.

The Biamp Modena BYOD solution was the most effective system deployment for the graduate school’s multiple classrooms and learning spaces. Parlé Beamtracking microphones
were installed to consistently capture speakers’ voices even when moving as they talk. Desono loudspeakers were included to ensure exceptional audio clarity, and Tesira DSP technology works
behind the scenes to process and route all digital signals to their proper destinations.
