New Tesira Enhancements Deliver Extraordinary Benefits

We're excited to share the latest updates for the Tesira platform from Biamp, which introduce powerful new features to streamline installations and enhance user experience.

Windows Update for TesiraFORTÉ X
Tesira 4.8 adds support for Windows Update on TesiraFORTÉ X processors via USB connections. This saves you valuable time on managing updates and ensures your TesiraFORTÉ X systems are always running the latest and most secure firmware version. Windows Update’s firmware delivery also enables Microsoft Teams Rooms to manage update deployment for controlled rollouts. Automatic firmware updates are enabled after running Biamp Launch.

Windows Update is also supported on TesiraFORTÉ X systems running a Tesira configuration file. The automatic firmware update can be enabled or disabled right from the Biamp Launch web interface or the device network settings in Tesira software.

Enhanced NPX Paging
Tesira 4.8 includes an update to the NPX paging stations, which now can page to all available zones even when some destinations are busy. This intelligent paging behavior ensures important announcements reach their intended audience without disruption.
