Biamp announced the acquisition of Evoko, a Sweden-based manufacturer renowned for its advanced scheduling systems. The acquisition marks another major step in Biamp's expansion strategy and commitment to provide more comprehensive, integrated solutions to its customers.

Evoko, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is a leading innovator in intuitive technology solutions for workplaces. Its suite of products includes room booking solutions and desk scheduling systems designed to enhance productivity and streamline office operations. Evoko's technology, already found in more than 10,000 organizations worldwide, will enable Biamp's customers to streamline their scheduling processes, creating an enhanced, unified experience.

These unique and forward-thinking offerings will expand Biamp's current portfolio and consolidate its status as a comprehensive provider of professional AV solutions. The acquisition underscores Biamp's commitment to invest in companies that share its mission to connect people through extraordinary audiovisual experiences.

While many businesses continue dealing with the effects of the pandemic-induced global supply chain crisis, Biamp managed to weather the storm largely unaffected thanks to savvy planning.

We are excited to announce this addition to our lineup of managed AV switches!

Joining our lineup of AV switches, the Biamp NMS-NG26GPX-AVB (NETGEAR model M4250-26G4XF-POE+) is a pro-grade managed switch designed from the ground-up for 1G networked AV systems. The switch provides 26 1G ports and four 10G SFP+ ports that all support AVB and Dante. 24 of the ports are PoE+ capable with 480W of total power budget. The NMS-NG26GPX-AVB is preconfigured by Biamp with the AVB license and is out of box ready for networked AV systems.

Recommended applications for both the 10-port and 26-port switches include large divisible rooms, multipurpose spaces, large houses of worship, lecture halls, court rooms, and auditoriums. Both switches also integrate seamlessly with our Cambridge Qt X sound masking solutions.

Biamp has released an important new update to our Project Designer configuration software for Impera control systems. If you are using Project Designer or plan to configure a Biamp room control system, here are three big reasons why you want to  update to our latest version – 1.34 .

Cool New Features for the Apprimo Touch 8i

With the update to Project Designer 1.34, you can now  configure two LED indicator strips  that are built into the back of the Apprimo Touch 8i control panel. These indicator strips can illuminate in green, yellow or red based on user action or device feedback, now enabled and easily configured in Project Designer 1.34.

Using the new Project Designer update enables individual projects to support up to eight Touch 8i control panels.

This latest version of Project Designer also improves live monitoring and system configuration for the Touch 8i.

Project Designer 1.34 features tweaks and enhancements that make it more enjoyable to use. Improvements have also been made to the scaling of buttons, text and icons.
