It’s the season of giving, and Biamp employees are once again answering the call to bring holiday cheer to less fortunate members of our community.

A Red Cross blood drive at Biamp headquarters on Nov. 29th saw 27 donors participate, which included four first-timers. Twenty-five pints of blood were collected, surpassing the drive’s goal of 23 pints. That’s enough blood to help up to 75 recipients in their time of need.

And continuing a Biamp holiday tradition, toy drives at several office locations are collecting new, unused gifts for children and families on behalf of two extraordinary organizations:

• Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, a top-rated pediatric facility located in the heart of Portland, Ore.
• The Community Action Agency of Delaware County’s Family Management Center, a shelter for women and families located near Biamp’s Philadelphia office.

Many thanks not only to the Biamp employees who donated blood, gifts—or both—this holiday season, but also to those of our partners who give back in their own ways to help bring extra cheer to their local communities.

The 2023 Inavation Awards technology finalists have been revealed, and the groundbreaking Parlé VBC 2500 Conferencing Video Bar from Biamp has been nominated in the Communication & Collaboration category.

Winners in all categories will be announced on Jan. 31 at Integrated Systems Europe in Barcelona.

Introducing Biamp's newest training course - Cambridge Qt X: Configure and Deploy. 

This course will provide the knowledge necessary to save time and boost efficiency during configuration and deployment of Qt X sound masking solutions. Through various exercises you will analyze a set of specifications, determine the best approach to system deployment, and use the Qt X software application, web UI, or the built-in front panel interface to enable working solutions.

After taking this course, you will be able to:

• Deploy a simple design using only the front panel - no PC required
• Use the software and the Web UI to configure more complex designs
• Leverage the convenience and flexibility of Zones in Qt X
• Work with external audio sources for paging and background music
• Configure the correct topology option when placing Qt X on an IT network

This self-paced online training course will take about 5 hours to complete. The AVIXA RUs CTS/CTS-D/CTS-I Credits are pending.
