IKEA recently opened a new seven-floor, 164,000-square-meter building in Goyang, South Korea; throughout the facility, Biamp's Community pendant loudspeakers are used for the background music and announcement system.
The set up uses a combination of Biamp's Community’s DP6 and DP8 two-way, high output pendant loudspeakers. The coaxial six and eight-inch designs use separate magnets for the LF and compression HF drivers, giving reduced distortion and sensitivity. In total, the system uses 105 x DP6 and 62 x DP8 loudspeakers.
