Biamp announced the implementation of a dealer-direct model in Australia and New Zealand to enhance its ability to support customers and drive growth.

Frequently asked questions regarding the transition to dealer-direct model in Australia and New Zealand.
No disruptions are expected. Jands will continue to supply product during the transition as Biamp builds local inventory and expands its ANZ logistics and operations organization.
Biamp has 3 existing application engineers located in Brisbane and is looking to grow the team. They work closely with Jands already and will ensure a smooth handover of all open tickets and support cases.
No changes are expected. This extends to both published pricing and rebate programs. In 2024, Biamp ANZ intends to establish new dealer agreements, which will likely shift to a calendar year (not AU FY) model.
Biamp ANZ will be drawing on Biamp’s Group Training coordinator, Michael Leoncini to assist with providing in-region training between now and the end of 2023. In addition, Biamp ANZ will be recruiting a head of training for ANZ who will handle the transition of the 2023 calendar and build the 2024 training calendar. It is our intention to provide mobile training kits to permit our trainers to tailor ‘in-company’ training as required, beyond scheduled training courses. As always, we also encourage our channel partners to leverage our vast online training material.
Integrators can expect the following benefits from directly working w/ Biamp:
- Published price list from Biamp ANZ in AUD & NZD.
- Customer service support for quotes, inventory availability, order tracking status updates, etc.
- Design assistance, solution demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects from our solutions architects.
- Training courses and certification management from our lead training talent.
- Regional sales managers to provide localised support to channel partners across ANZ, PNG, and the Pacific Islands.
- A Brisbane-based, finance team to provide an interface for all our transactional partners for account establishment, credit limit management, reporting, account reconciliations, etc.
- Local marketing resources to assist with channel partner events, case studies, Biamp APAC channels, Integrate tradeshow, AETM, industry events and our own Biamp-hosted partner conferences.
The focus will be building out the team to provide world class, localised sales and support to our new direct partners.
We will also be hosting a partner event in 2024 called Biamp 24’, which will include 3 days of immersive presentations, workshops, and live demonstrations for channel partners, system Integrators, consultants, and end-users.
In addition, we expect to introduce annual Biamp ANZ study tours for our partners who win our annual best project awards, which will be announced at Biamp 24’.
