1. Experience Biamp Launch: Evaluate Biamp Launch’s auto configuration process and consider the Report Card data results.
2. Create Tesira files: Utilizing filters, matrices, and routing, successfully connect and send files to the system.
3. Practice the use of ducking signals using both audio and logic as the trigger.
4. Manage Zone Control: Create simple zone control of multiple areas in a facility with programming of a TEC-X controller.
5. Build a large conference space that includes a UC client and focus on connecting and understanding the AEC Reference correctly.

The goal of our VoIP training is to provide Biamp integrators with the necessary tools to design, integrate, and troubleshoot Biamp products with VoIP telephony systems. Upon completion of Biamp VoIP certification,
attendees will have a better understanding of the following:
- VoIP systems on modern Ethernet networks, including network design and setups as well as the physical components used in VoIP systems
- Use of Call Setup protocols in a VoIP environment, including an extensive understanding of how call sessions are negotiated between parties within a VoIP system
- Real Time Protocols (RTP) used within a VoIP transaction, including the process of converting audio signals for traversal across an Ethernet network
- Quality control mechanisms for VoIP exchanges on a network, including the use of Class of Service (CoS) and Quality of Service (QoS) to manage packet delivery
- Troubleshooting techniques for resolving communication issues between VoIP devices on a network, including the use of packet monitoring software such as Wireshark to identify problems

COURSE OVERVIEW
Biamp’s TesiraCONNECT network appliance made building a modern AV system without switch configuration easier than ever. Then, the TC-5D model introduced the ability to bridge together AVB and Dante signals, ushering in a new level of flexibility. This training session navigates the connectivity options made possible by both these devices, demonstrating strategies to use for both media and
control traffic, either together or separately; while using a single media type or media conversion; and within a single Tesira system or when interfacing with an outside network. The ultimate goal of this session is to prepare trainees to create the most efficient design based on their specific needs.
PREREQUISITES: This presentation assumes an intermediate-level working knowledge of the Tesira software. There are no formal course prerequisites for A/V Networking – TesiraCONNECT.

Qt X: Configure and Deploy
This course will provide the knowledge necessary to save time and boost efficiency to successfully configure and deploy Biamp’s Qt X sound masking solutions. Through various exercises you will analyze a set of specifications, determine the best approach to system deployment, and use the Qt X software application, web interface, or the controller’s built-in front panel interface to enable working solutions.
Prerequisites: Biamp’s online self-pace course: "Fundamentals of Speech Privacy & Sound Masking;" Experience with Biamp’s Cambridge family of sound masking solutions.

- Deploy a simple design with a Qt X controller’s front panel - no PC required.
- Use the software and the Web UI to configure more complex designs.
- Leverage the convenience and flexibility of Zones in Qt X.

- Configure the correct topology option when placing Qt X on an IT network.

This course has been designed for those who find themselves in the position of providing maintenance for and making minor modifications to existing Biamp AudiaFLEX and Nexia platform audio systems.
The training focuses on systems that are already installed — rather than working on a new installation. The tasks that have proven most difficult for technicians over the years will be discussed.
After completing the training, attendees will have a better understanding of the following:
- The bulk of the hardware in the AudiaFLEX and Nexia families
- How to navigate the configuration software and how it relates to the hardware in the system
- All the layers of connectivity involved in communicating with the hardware
- Peripheral devices such as audio expanders and controllers and their impacts on the overall AV system
